Dear Lake Forest Neighbors,
My daughter, Emily Jessup, is helping with a council-wide service project this fall called Blanket the Community. Now through October 23, Girl Scouts are collecting new and gently-used blankets for distribution throughout our community, and elsewhere, to those in need.

The Girl Scouts would very much appreciate your donations at the Lake Forest annual meeting at the Church of the Reconciliation this Sunday. The church has also been approached about having a collection box there now through Sunday, October 23, to receive donations and we are hopeful that one will be available for neighborhood donations other than this Sunday evening at the Church. However, we have a waterproof trunk at the top of our driveway (209 Ridgecrest Drive) in which you can also leave donations.
